In honour of Black History Month, we will be having a movie night to watch “Just Mercy”, a true story about a Christian lawyer and Harvard graduate working for those on death row wrongly accused of murder or not afforded proper legal representation. It’ll be a great time to learn, build community, and eat pizza and snacks.
The movie is rated PG-13 and does include content that is challenging to digest, particularly for those in our junior youth category. Parents are welcome to come with their children to view the movie. You can read Focus on the Family’s Plugged In review here:
