Parents/guardians are on the frontlines everyday of navigating and caring for the next generation. To do so without talking about mental health would be to ignore a rising reality for so many young people.
Mark Stromenberg will be joining us Oct 12th to lead the difficult but necessary conversation around mental health and suicide.
Mark works for Hashtag Hope, a Canadian charity that exists to spread awareness, resource people, and prevent suicide. Before joining Hashtag Hope, Mark was a local YFC/Youth Unlimited worker. He also was a trainer for ASIST, a two-day suicide intervention training course run by LivingWorks Education.
He loves the church and families - and desires to help parents/caretakers do their best to support young people on their mental health journey.
